April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Today we have a moment for Mission presented by a staff person from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). In 2015 Texas, CPS Received 176,061 reports of child abuse or neglect. 40,318 children were known to be confirmed victims of abuse and neglect and more than 16,000 children were in foster care.
