Dress-A-Girl Workshop Saturday, Nov. 7th, 9-3 PM The Gathering Place
Come join the fun & fellowship as we make pillowcase dresses for girls around the world.
There is something for everyone – cutting, pressing, pinning, trimming and sewing. Bring your sewing machine if you like to sew! If you would like to find out more about these special dresses, you can go to the website at : Dress a girl around the world
We can also use the following donations:
- New or gently used pillowcases of all sizes (except baby) and all colors or patterns as long as they are not too sheer.
- Trim items such as pieces of lace, rick-rack, ribbon, etc.
- Small (6” square or larger) pieces of printed fabric that we can use to make pockets or ruffles for the dresses.
- Extra-wide double fold bias tape in any colors
Lunch will be provided.
Please let the office or Kay Craig know if you will be attending so we have enough lunch.
