Guest Preacher
Our guest preacher on Sunday is Rev. Katherine Hester Doehring. She currently serves as Campus Pastor for United Campus Ministry in Aggieland, an ecumenical outreach supported by the PC(USA) and UCC to students at Texas A&M University and Blinn College in the Bryan/College Station community. Katherine is a life-long Presbyterian, and grew up on the southeastern coast of North Carolina. She attended Davidson College, where she studied Studio Art and Religion, before attending Duke Divinity School. While at Duke, Katherine met her spouse, a Methodist pastor from Texas. For the last three years, she’s been learning how to preach in jeans and boots, and how to yell with the Fightin’ Texas Aggies at football games! Katherine is passionate about ministry with students and young adults, and how to incorporate the arts into Christian worship, spiritual formation, and pastoral care. She is grateful to share in worship with Spring Branch Presbyterian this Sunday!
