The University of Texas Project

Posted on February 3, 2017

As part of a program at The University of Texas called “Projects with Underserved Communities,” Caroline Bik will be traveling abroad this summer to work with a community in south India. While there, Caroline and her team will help the village build a community center. The center will be used as a resource area for agricultural instruction and as a place for the women’s group to meet and discuss economic empowerment activities. If you are interested in supporting Caroline in her journey to India, tax deductible donations can be made to her through the church. Please make checks payable to “Spring Branch            Presbyterian Church” and include “Caroline Bik project” in the memo line. And if you have any advice, knowledge or friends in India, please feel free to share these things with Caroline! Thank you.
