CUPS School Supplies Needed
The following items are needed:
- Pencils
- Pens
- Crayons
- Colored markers
- Small plastic pencil sharpeners
- Small scissors (blunt and regular)
- Construction paper (colored and Manilla)
- Typing paper for the teachers
- Story books in Spanish
- Books in English (for primary school students)
- Back packs
- Pencil bags
- Cotton book bags
- Watercolors
- Paint brushes

All of the above can be left in the church office. We will faithfully pick up these supplies and store them until we can get them to CUPS in McAllen. They will go in June with the CUPS Mission trip to the Rio Grande Valley.
In addition there is a need for the following for handicapped folks:
Diapers ~ adult and children. Since these are bulky items a check can be made out to CUPS and designated “diapers for Mexico.” The check can be left in our church office or, if you have adult diapers left over from someone you were caring for, they also can be left in the church office.

Since it is close to the end of school, many school supplies get thrown away. Before you throw them away, consider donating them to CUPS. There is a box outside our church office ready to receive these items. Some child whos family cannot afford the necessary school supplies will be thrilled for your leftover items — crayons, pens, pencils, colored construction paper, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, etc. Share with others.
