Dress A Girl Around the World
Dress A Girl Around the World is coming to SBPC for a second year!
The event this year will be on the morning of September 10th from 9am-3pm – mark it on your calendars!
The mission of Dress a Girl Around the World is to elevate the esteem of girls around the world by making sure every little girl has the dignity of owning at least one dress.
We have plenty of pillow cases already, so what we need now are sewing machines and operators, rick-rack, trims, elastic, double bias tape, sewn pockets, scrap fabric, and other decorative notions.
Are you interested in starting early? Packets and instructions to start sewing early are available. Just check with Beverly Davidson or look in front of the church office. Or, just show up in the Gathering Place at 9am that morning.
All are welcome. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors.

I participated in this last year. It was really special to see the creativity, time and passion that went into making these dresses.
