Pentecost Sunday, May 28th: “The Power to Forgive”

Good Morning,

Join us on Sunday at 9:30 and 10:50 for Sunday School and Worship. We welcome the Rev. Timothy V. Marquez back to our pulpit on Sunday. Pastor Tim confesses to being both excited and challenged by the opportunities of ministry in these pandemic times in the church. Involved in the Interim and Transitional ministry of the Presbyterian Church USA. A contribution of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines – a Global Mission Partner of the PCUSA – to the wider and global church and only by God’s grace he was able to serve local churches and Mid Councils in the Eastern, Western and Midwestern regions of the US as a hospital chaplain, solo pastor, head of staff, and associate pastor positions. Pastor Tim is a member in Full Standing of the New Covenant Presbytery of the PCUSA, served in varied committees of the presbytery, and as the Presbytery Commissioner to the 224th General Assembly of the PCUSA. Now he is part of the Coordinating Team of the Synod of the Sun PCUSA, serving as the past moderator for the Committee on Representation. Ordained by the UCCP United Metropolis Conference, he received his education in ministry at FEBIAS College of Bible, formal theological training at Silliman University Divinity School (the only Presbyterian University in the Philippines), Graduate Studies in psychology at the University of the City of Maynila, and recently finished his Master of Theology course at the Union Theological Seminary. Tim is married to his lovely wife Tricia Sanchez (Pie) and blessed with two boys, Jacob Kahlil and Jericho Ishmael. They are now living in Sugar Land Texas. Always grateful to God for all the blessings and the opportunity to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and his wider church.
